Information we collect
Newsletter: When you subscribe, we store your email address, subscription status, relevant dates, and delivery records.
Google sign-in and comments: If you sign in to comment, the authentication service provides an account identifier, name, and email address. We store your account identifier, displayed name, comment text, article reference, and posting date. Your email is used for account and comment-notification purposes and is not displayed publicly by the comment list.
Likes and cookies: Signed-out readers who like an article receive a random, HTTP-only visitor cookie so the website can remember the like. Signed-in likes use the account identifier.
Contact: If you email us, we receive the address, name, message, attachments, and other information you choose to provide. Hosting and security providers may also process routine technical logs such as request times, device/browser information, and network identifiers.
How information is used
We use information to operate the website; deliver article notifications; provide sign-in, comments, and likes; respond to inquiries and correction requests; protect the service; diagnose problems; prevent abuse; maintain delivery records; and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
Nestechub relies on service providers that process information on our behalf: Vercel for hosting and file delivery, Neon for database and reader authentication services, Resend for newsletter and notification emails, and Google for social sign-in. Their handling of information is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
Cookies
The website uses cookies or similar identifiers needed for admin and reader sessions and to remember anonymous article likes. These are functional technologies rather than advertising cookies. Your browser can remove or block cookies, but sign-in, liking, or other features may then stop working correctly.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with the service providers described above, when necessary to operate requested features, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, comply with law, or complete a legitimate business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including maintaining subscriptions, published comments, security records, and legal obligations. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we use access controls, secure connections, protected credentials, and reputable infrastructure providers to reduce risk.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter. You can remove an anonymous-like identifier by clearing the Nestechub visitor cookie, although the stored like may remain in aggregate counts. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Some information may be retained when required for security, legal, or legitimate operational reasons.
Children and international processing
Nestechub is a general-audience technology publication and is not directed to children under 13. Service providers may process data in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ.
